We are here to help guests see and enjoy all of The Lake
Caddo is Texas' only natural lake and was designated as a "wetland of
international importance" in 1993 by the worldwide Ramsar Convention.
Caddo Lake is located within 20 miles of the historic town, Jefferson,
Texas. Travel to Jefferson by boat is possible on Big Cypress
Bayou from The Lake at Uncertain, Texas.
Caddo is home to more then 1,000 flowering plants, a very large
collection of fishes, birds of all kinds, beavers, raccoons, turtles,
frogs, and other wildlife as well as its own breath-taking beauty and
ecosystem. |
